Lot 7: “I Love Lucy”: A Comic Retrospective: An amazing 145-page comic book featuring 15 different “I Love Lucy” stories. Opening Bid: $10

Lot 21: Scarce Danbury Mint Test Market Collector Plate: In 2003, the Danbury Market ran a test market promotion on a new "I Love Lucy" plate. Due to the modest response, the Danbury Mint decided not to move forward with this plate. Instead, they produced just enough to fulfill their test market orders. Plate is trimmed in 23 karat gold and in mint condition with original shipping carton, plate stand, and certificate of authenticity. Rare. Opening Bid: $400

Lot 28: Voice of the Turtle Postcard: Post card promoting the July 24-29, 1951 performances of Voice of the Turtle—the play in which Desi Arnaz “discovered” the future Ethel Mertz. The backside of postcard features an over 200 word letter written by Vivian to her family back home in Albuquerque. Wonderful sampling of Vivian’s handwriting. Opening Bid: $200

Lot 45: Vivian Vance Postcard Recipe: Vivian Vance sent this postcard to her sister, Mickey, on January 19, 1957. In her own handwriting, Vivian shares a recipe that is “really great and will feed a mob…” Written in red ink on her personal “Vivian Vance Ober” stationery which also features her home address. Opening Bid: $100

Lot 47: Desilu Crew Jacket: Blue denim zippered jacket with dark blue felt lettering on the back that reads “D E S I L U.” Jacket has been soiled with paint. Opening Bid: $400

Lot 48: Vivian’s Turquoise Corduroy Coat: Vivian Vance’s sheep-lined coat. Vivian later gave this coat to her sister, Mickey. A photo of Vivian and Mickey (wearing the coat) is included here. Opening Bid: $200
Lot 49: Vivian’s Red Kimono: This kimono was once owned by television’s most beloved “second banana.” Possibly worn in a television program; unable to verify. Opening Bid: $150

Lot 56: Vivian’s Charm Bracelet: Unique charm bracelet features seven charms including: No Parking sign, light house, “Touch Wood” sign, heart, and clock. Opening Bid: $125
Lot 57: Vivian Vance’s Strawberry Pin: This piece of costume jewelry once belonged to TV’s most beloved “second banana.” Opening Bid: $100
Miscellaneous

Lot 62: Uncommon Ethel Mertz Santa Doll: Manufactured by Mattel Toys in 2007, this hard-to-find doll features Vivian Vance dressed as Santa from the memorable 1956 holiday episode. Only 999 dolls were manufactured. Opening Bid: $60


Lot 65: Christmas Card from Lucy & Desi: Vintage 1950’s Christmas card reads “Best Wishes for a Happy Holiday Season. Lucy And Desi Arnaz. Lucie & Desi IV.” This card was sent by Lucy and Desi to Pepito and Joann Perez. (Pepito was the clown who appeared in the “Lucy’s Showbiz Swan Song” episode of “I Love Lucy”.) Interior of card has a color image of Lucy and Desi which has been glued to the inside of the card. Opening Bid: $80
Lot 67: Lucille Ball Vanity Set: This vintage 1950’s vanity set features Lucy in two gold picture frames. Other vanity items displayed—in the original gift box—include hair brushes, combs, cosmetic jars, and a mirrored vanity tray. Uncommon. Opening Bid: $400

Lot 84: Vintage Little Ricky Doll: Created by the American Character Doll Company in 1953, this Little Ricky doll features rooted hair and stands 19” tall. “Ricky Jr.” is embroidered on his white shirt. Clothing is original. Excellent condition. Opening Bid: $40
Lot 85: Lucy & Ricky 50th Anniversary Doll Set: Mattel released this doll set in 2001 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of “I Love Lucy”. Mint in original box. Opening Bid: $40
Rare & Unusual

Lot 101: “Lucille Ball Original By Sperling” Ladies Hat: In the 1950’s several clothing and accessory manufacturers were licensed to create “I Love Lucy” brand items. Lucy lingerie, Desi denims, and Little Ricky toddler clothing were available at fine department stores throughout the country. This gray felt hat (trimmed in black and white) is another example of classic 1950’s “I Love Lucy” memorabilia! Inside label features the “I Love Lucy” heart and reads “A Lucille Ball Original by Sperling.” Sperling released several different “Lucille Ball” hats. Here’s your chance to add a “Lucille Ball Original” to your collection! Opening Bid: $200

Please put “auction” in the subject line of your email. 

Bids must be received by noon, EST, on Friday, August 1.  We will be contacting you to verify your bid and note payment arrangements in the event you are the winning bidder.  In addition to your bid price, there will be a 10% buyers fee, shipping charge, and – if shipped within New York State – 7.75% NYS sales tax. 

The day of the auction your silent bid will be executed as part of the live auction.  Our bidder will bid on your behalf incrementally up to the amount you specify.

Auction Rules & Guidelines

1. All items have been assigned an opening bid. Bids lower than the assigned opening bid will not be accepted.

2. All items will be sold to the highest bidder.

3. The auctioneer will determine the highest bidder. In the event of a dispute among bidders, the auctioneer will decide if it is necessary to reopen the bidding process.

4. A buyer's premium of 10% will be added to the purchase price of each item.

5. All items must be purchased and taken the day of the sale.  Winning bidders who wish to have their items shipped to them will be charged a shipping and handling fee based on the weight of the item.

6. Sizes and dimensions listed are approximates.

7. All items are sold as is and all sales are final.

8. New York state residents must pay NY State sales tax of 7.75% unless a valid resale
number is provided.

9. Methods of payment: cash, certified check, personal check with approved identification, or credit card (Master Card, Visa, American Express, or Discover).

10. An auction preview will be held on Saturday, August 2, prior to the auction for potential bidders to inspect the quality and condition
of the auction items.

11. Bidding on an item indicates acceptance of the above conditions.
